His background is further differentiated in that he has also been involved with executing clinical trials and can translate the nuances of clinical data with various classes of medications. He will take the time to review risks, benefits, and alternatives of newer and traditional treatments. By the same token, he does not believe that a single pill will cure all your problems. He is familiar with working in large project matrix environments with US and international based teams . He can relate to the stresses of never-ending emails, constant meetings, frequent travel, and trying to find a reasonable work-life balance. Dr. Mathews strives to always provide a good bedside manner to develop a positive and collaborative experience for those under his care. He is conservative when it comes to prescribing medications and believes in treating his patient as a unique individual and not as a DSM V diagnosis.
